Therapeutic Family Homes Program

Therapeutic Foster Care recruits, trains and approves families to serve as therapeutic foster parents for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children and youth between the ages of 3 to 17.  Children are placed with specially-trained families who can provide intensive support and supervision for children in a home/community based setting. Additional services provided include individual, family and/or group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, psychiatric evaluation/consultation, medication management, and advocacy services.  For enrollment information or information on being trained as therapeutic foster parents, call Leah Keyes at (501) 666-8686, extension 1101.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient clinics in Little Rock and Jacksonville provide treatment services for children and youth, ages 3-20, who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems.  Clients can receive individual, family and group therapies as well as psychiatric consultation, evaluation and medication management.

Day Treatment

The Day Treatment Services Program provides therapeutic and educational services for children, adolescents and their families.  Children who are not able to function in a regular classroom setting attend our school staffed with certified special education teachers and mental health professionals.  Both therapies and educational services are designed to enhance the overall knowledge, growth, maturity and well-being of children and family members.  For more information, call Michael Walker at (501) 666-8686, ext. 1233.

Emergency Shelter

The shelter provides immediate temporary shelter to children and adolescents ages 8-18 who are in crisis.  This service provides a stable environment, safety and compassionate support for youth who are in state custody or are considered homeless or runaways.

Independent Living

The Transitional Therapeutic Living Center provides comprehensive mental health services, 24 hour a day staff access and transportation to adolescents between the ages of 15 to age 21 with the goal of becoming self-sufficient.  Staff supervises youth in a home-like setting with program rules and guidelines, incentive programs and behavioral programming. These adolescents and young adults can continue their education in the Little Rock School District or local university.  They may pursue their GED or work on their job training skills while being supported by our staff and licensed mental health professionals.  Referrals may be made by faxing the TTLC Admit Packet to our Access office at (501)-663-6503 or by contacting the Access office at (501)-666-8686 or toll free at 1-888-868-0023.
